After having done your shootings your music video, you are going to load your recordings onto your computer, then you are going to sort out your best shots; it´s what is called derushing. Once you have selected your best shots, you are going to start joining them end to end in your own order; this step of assembling is called editing. Within the scope of a music video production, all the subtleness of editing is in the respect of a coherent rhythm which will know how to express all the emotion from the music. You should have to pay attention to the timing between the beat of the music and the choreography, and between the singing and the lip motions.

In this list, the quality of software is not equivalent from one soft to another. For instance, Vegas from Sony is a semi-professional software and is well above a Windows Movie maker; nevertheless it is not or very little used by the professional studios and we didn´t want to do multiple lists.
